We are now hiring a senior Android software developer to a position in the Jönköping office as part of the development team in the Wireless Labs department. In this role you design, develop and maintain open source software packages in Android distributions for the automotive industry. These packages are mainly for inclusion in Android's HAL and adapted to a wide range of specialized hardware solutions. We use modern tools for issue tracking, configuration management, test automation and release management. The role also features client meetings, requirements management and complex bid work.
We believe that you have several years experience from embedded software development close to the hardware, and also experience in creating code for Android HAL. Preferably you also have experience in the Bluetooth specifications and specifically in the Fluoride Bluetooth protocol stack.
You are fluent in written and spoken English, and you probably have a relevant academic degree.
